Within Marin’s extensive portfolio of subsea excavation equipment, the EVO™ BTE80 is a ROV mounted subsea excavation system. The excavation system generates a balancing thrust of water which allows for the tool to provide a precise excavation on the target (flexible, cable or subsea structure).
In some instances where the soil conditions are consolidated, a dirty work pack along with a submersible pump can be utilised to provide jetting through the Roto-Jet attachment to the excavation system. The jetting system can be used to augment the EVO™ BTE80 productivity and performance by providing the ability to cut and wash away the sheared material on the work face.
